SAFD || STRUCTURE FIRE || 2016.10.29 || Shortly after noon, crews from the 8th battalion were dispatched to the report of a structure fire in the 400 blk of Henry St on the cities Northwest Side. As units were in route, SAFD Central Dispatch advised the companies that they were starting to receive multiple calls and reporting that flames were visible from a house off of Henry St. Engine Co. 15 checked on scene at the corner of Henry St. and 18th St with “…. a single story, single family structure with moderate smoke and fire on the Charle side. We’ll be pulling a reconnect and command will be mobile…” Engine 15 held the fire to the rear of the structure while Engine 10 laid a supply line, and Truck 8 vented the structure. Crews remained on scene No injuries were reported. Companies on the box were EN10, EN15, EN08, TK08, EMSC2, M08, MAC39, and BC08.
